Quality Assurance Auditor |

Orlando, FL
The Quality Assurance
Auditor will be stationed at the
corporate headquarters office in Orlando
Florida. This position requires
extensive travel, sometimes working
nights and weekends. The auditor
must have good communication skills, and
excellent attention to detail.
The Quality Assurance Auditor reports to
the Manager, Quality Assurance and will
be responsible for planning,
implementation and tracking of internal
and external audits. The Auditor
will issue and track Corrective Action
Responses for root cause determinations.
Essential Functions:
* The Auditor will assist the Manager,
Quality Assurance in the planning and
implementation of audit schedules
* Identifies, tracks and solves quality
escapes
* Performs quality audits internal and
external
* If needed, the Auditor will assist
operating departments in the development
of corrective action plans
* Assesses findings risk
* Approves immediate and comprehensive
corrective action plans, and performs
follow-up as necessary
* Reviews audits of operational areas
* Reviews past evaluation/audit records
and compliance data for trends
* Interface with internal and external
leadership and front line individuals
* Assists in program development and
improvement
* Additional duties as assigned by the
Manager, Quality Assurance

Minimum Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or General
Education Development (GED)
Diploma
* Bachelor’s Degree preferred
* Airframe & Power plant
certificate required
*FAR 121 and 145 Quality Assurance
experience preferred
* 2 years of successful
performance in the operational
area of airline or military
aviation
* Training or aviation
experience in investigations,
inspections, or quality
assurance preferred
* Audit experience or approved
industry recognized audit
qualification preferred
* Process improvement experience
or training preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: |

Excel, Word and Power point
* Ability to acquire and present

Needed to Develop in-house repairs and
modifications or coordinate development
and approval of repairs and
modifications with FAA, OEM or MRO as
required, Build standards for component
repairs, coordinate with suppliers on
workscope development and develop
maintenance procedures and task cards as
required to support and maintain the
fleet. Also will
Review/Recommend/Implement manufacturer
Service Bulletins, changes to
Maintenance Programs and Airworthiness
Directives applicable to the fleet.
Minimum of 5 years experience in the
maintenance, repair or modification of
large transport category aircraft with
an OEM, MRO or part 121 airline.
Knowledge of FAR’s applicable to
transport category aircraft and Part 121
airline maintenance/engineering
operations.
BS
in Engineering or Technical Field or
equivalent (minimum of
FAA A&P License with Associates
degree). Must have excellent verbal and
written communication skills and be
proficient with the use of Microsoft
Office Software.
Must
have an A&P License, prefer Project
Management Experience and prefer
candidate who has attended an OEM
airline structural repair engineering
course.

Responsible for supervising,
coordinating, scheduling and assigning
line mechanics’ daily work assignments.
Coordinates line maintenance with the
Planning and Purchasing departments.
Will provide all work documents from the
AMM, Assign MEL numbers and update
tracking systems. Audit log pages to
ensure the signoffs meet CCIA GMM
requirements and will be accountable for
any errors that reach the Records
department. Will guide the trouble
shooting of problems and will monitor
time remaining of all scheduled tasks to
ensure accomplishment before their due
date.
